Speed Of Bolt
We developed a simple but very addictive HTML5 game to promote the Optus services with our friends at Amobee. The campaign features the fastest man in the world Usain Bolt promoted on Snap Chat and Facebook. The game allows you to run at the speed of bolt on all mobile and desktop platforms. The player’s goal is to maintain your speed by collecting speed and building this up to unleash Bolt Speed for maximum points.
A fast social advertising game within a budget
We developed this simple game idea with the restrictions of a thin brief, a short time frame/budget for one of the worlds largest Media Agencies Amobee. The client wanted a game that focused on speed, even the game had to load fast, Mode provided not only the game development services but also the hosting services to ensure the games performance exceeded expectations. During the campaign the game had up to 20K unique plays per day to a total of 500K+ during the entire campaign localised to target market of Australia.

Kinect Aspen Challenge
An Xbox Kinect game was developed with DDB to help Aspen promote their product at upcoming expos and conferences in 2015. The game was designed to reinforce the client’s key messages and get attention from passing delegates at each conference.
The game was built using the Xbox Kinect SDK and allowed up to 2 players to participate in a fun 3D game. Players could accurately control the movement of characters to interact with falling obstacles, collecting as many as possible in 60 seconds.
The result was successful for the client, getting up to 3 hours of continual play at each conference. The game allowed Aspen to start a dialogue with industry professionals they normally wouldn’t get the chance to speak with. We provided on site support in 2 major cities over 3 events in 2015, gaming equipment and the game software we developed to deliver this great result.

Lilly Road Ahead Challenge
To help promote a Lilly and Boeheim Ringer’s product at upcoming expos and conferences during 2015/2016, we developed an Xbox Kinect game in conjunction with DDB. The game was designed to reinforce the client’s key messages and get attention from passing delegates at the conferences.
The game was built using the Xbox Kinect SDK, allowing up to 3 players to compete. Challenged to fun 3D racing, the players controlled the direction of their vehicle by physically turning their arms; and acceleration, by pushing their arms outwards, controlling speed and boost. The players were pre-game challenged to a quick quiz, with the fastest player to answer winning a starting line assist. The goal of the game is to collect as many pickups as possible and get to the finish line first.
The result was successful, with the client getting up to 3+ hours of continual play over 2 days (playable only during session breaks) at the initial conference. The game was designed so that the client could start a casual dialogue with industry professionals they normally wouldn’t get the chance to speak with. We provided on site support, gaming equipment, surrounding panel and floor artwork, and the game software we developed to deliver this great result.
